Here you’ll find everything from booking guidelines to menu flexibility, so you know exactly what to expect when choosing us for your event.
We cater for a variety of events including weddings, family reunions, corporate gatherings, birthday parties, and special celebrations.
While we specialize in Soul Food and Cajun inspired dishes, our culinary expertise extends across a diverse range of cuisines including French, Greek, Italian, and more. We’re happy to create a menu that fits your event’s theme and preferences.
Yes, we provide convenient drop-off catering for your event within 30 miles of our prep kitchen. We deliver delicious, freshly prepared food directly to your location, allowing you to focus on enjoying your celebration. We allow pick up as well.
We recommend placing your order at least [21] days in advance for standard pan preparation service. This is to ensure availability and proper preparation. For larger or custom menus, like weddings, etc; please contact us much sooner.
We can customize dishes to meet dietary needs such as vegetarian, dairy-free, or allergy-specific requests. We are not able to advise, accommodate, or guarantee Vegan, and Gluten Free options at this time. Please inform us at the time of booking.
Our packages cannot be altered. However, if you don’t go with a package and opt in to Ala Carte, then Yes! We will work closely with you to craft a menu that reflects your taste, event theme, and limited dietary requirements. Feel free to mix and match dishes from our diverse offerings,
Tastings are only available for wedding bookings, or if we are hosting a tasting event, in which we advertise, when we are doing those. Please contact us to schedule a tasting and discuss your preferred dishes before finalizing your menu for the big day.
We primarily prepare pans, therefore most items are priced by the full pan, with the exception of a few items, that are only offered by the ½ pan. Pricing depends on the menu item, and in some cases; number of guests, and specific services requested. Contact us for a personalized quote based on your event details.
Our primary service is drop-off catering, but we can arrange staffing and serving options upon request for an additional fee, when available.
Deposits: A non-refundable 25% deposit is required at the time of booking for events scheduled , 3 weeks or more in advance. This deposit reserves your date and allows us to begin preparing for your event.
Final Payment: The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to your event date.
Short-Notice Bookings: For events booked less than 3 weeks before the date, full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your reservation.
Cancellation Policy:
If you cancel more than 7 days before your event, you will receive a 50% refund of the total amount paid (excluding the 25% non-refundable deposit).
If you cancel less than 7 days before your event, no refunds will be issued, as food and supplies are typically purchased at this stage.
Cancellations must be made in writing. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 7-10 business days of cancellation confirmation.

We offer delivery within 30 Miles of Cedar Rapids, IA. Delivery charges may vary based on distance and order size.
We follow all health and safety protocols, including contactless delivery, sanitized equipment, and staff PPE, to ensure the safety of your guests and our team.
Deposits
• A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required to secure your date. Date is not held without deposit. If the event is 3 weeks or less away, payment in full must be made at the time of booking.
Balance & Payments
• Remaining balance due 21 days (3 weeks) before the event unless otherwise stated in the contract/invoice.
• We accept Credit/Debit Cards, Venmo, Cashiers/Bank Checks, or Money Orders. No Personal Checks or Cash accepted. Chargebacks are treated as unpaid balances and will incur fees.
Cancellations
• 30+ days out: Deposit retained; 75% of remaining balance refunded.
• 8–29 days out: Deposit retained; 50% of remaining balance refunded.
• 0–7 days out: Deposit retained; no refund on remaining balance (food/labor already committed).
Rescheduling
• One complimentary reschedule within 6 months, subject to availability. Funds transfer to the new date; new pricing may apply.
Headcount Reductions
• No Head Cout Decreases Accepted.
Custom/Special Orders
• Custom items, rentals, and third-party services (linens, décor, equipment) are non-refundable once ordered.
Service Issues
• If we fail to deliver contracted items or service levels, we’ll cure on-site when possible. If not, we offer a partial credit proportional to the missing/deficient items; no credits for preferences outside the signed menu/specifications.
Force Majeure
• Neither party is liable for events beyond control (severe weather, government orders, utility outages). Deposits convert to a credit usable within 6 months.
Leftovers & Food Safety
• Once food is delivered, client assumes responsibility; no refunds for items discarded for safety, dropped, not properly kept to temperature, or discarded.
